OMG!! Ok so for my birthday the hubby bought me a new Kindle which was awesome, but it was because of said Kindle that I stumbled across an author I have never heard of before. H.P. Mallory. I decided the synopsis for her books "How to Kill a Warlock" and "Fire Burn & Cauldron Bubble" sounded interesting so I bought them both. Well now I'm hooked. I am anxiously awaiting her next book. As I was waiting very impatiently I got an email that she is running a contest to be in her next book... So yea OMG... I want it bad.. I want to make a big sign that says PICK ME, PICK ME!!!! If you haven't heard of her, her books are definitely worth the read!

Aaaahhh Sunday!

Thanks to my new position at work, for the most part now I have weekends off! I spent my Sunday working on these beauties! Hope you like.

SCS Challenge: CC273

This week I chose to go outside my little box of comfort and do a color challenge. The color challenge of the week is CC273. Close to Cocoa, Barely Banana, Garden Green... there was a cherry on top options of using a Soft Sky option. I didn't own Soft Sky, so I cheated slightly and used PTI's Aqua Mist. These colors were hard for me to pair together, but I am glad I gave it a try. Overall I am pretty happy with the results!!

I am also uploading the rest of the cards I made while working my weekend graveyard shift. TTFN!

Glee, and Stamping

First lets start out with my challenge for the week.... SC281. I got the Lighthouse from Tiddly Inks. It was fun to make, and I love the look of it.

On to Glee. Tonight was the GaGa Episode and I have to say I was very disappointed. Only 2 GaGa songs and the rendition they did of Poker Face was HORRIBLE! I am hoping the next episode will be better!

It's been a couple of days. I meant to get back here sooner, but work called and I came running. I worked on this weeks technique {CAS67} at work, so I don't feel it turned out as great as I would have liked and I didn't want to go a week with out posting.... So, something is better than nothing.

On a non crafty related note, I am DYING for Eclipse to come out already. Yea I'm a Twilight Geek and proud of it!! It so needs to be here now!!!

Splitcoast Challenge and Steve Byrne

I had the whole day off today.. So I kept myself busy by participating in the Splitcoastampers WT270 Challenge and getting ready to see Steve Byrne at the San Jose Improv. Steve Byrne was hilarious. He pulled my brother up on stage and renamed him, The Sexacutioner, part of the boy band Sausage Party... Too funny. All in all, it was a great day!!
