Warm Bodies ** Spoilers Included **

The hubby is a HUGE fan of anything Zombie related, so he was super excited to go see the new Summit Entertainment comedy, Warm Bodies. Originally a novel by Isaac Marion, Warm Bodies: A Novel , was written as the zombie version of Romeo and Juliet.

So how was it?

Warm Bodies is a fantastic twist on the Zombie genre. Boy sees girl. Boy eats girl's boyfriend's brains. Boy falls for girl. Girl falls for boy. Oh and the boy is a Zombie, duh!

Nicholas Hoult (of Skins), does an impressive job of shuffling about an abandoned airport as the zombie named R. R longs for something more than just the same old routine, day in and day out.

Teresa Palmer (of Take Me Home Tonight) plays Julie, the daughter of Grigio, played by John Malkovich. Julie lives in the last known human settlement in the United States, but longs for more than just getting by.

Warm Bodies does a wonderful job of showing the audience the importance of keeping an open mind and communication. Overall the movie is cute, funny, thoughtful, but does have some strong language and brains in it, so I would only let the older teens see this one!

TTFN!
